Ahead of the 15th edition of the Ughelli Pre-season Cup, the organizer of the tournament Mr. Onome James has revealed that friends have donated some items to this year’s edition.
One of the best Photo journalists in Nigeria, Ugbodaga Irabor Kennedy also known as Dagashotz a board member of the Edo State Football Association and is currently in Ivory Coast Covering the 2023 AFCON has donated Gold and Silver Medals for the 15th Edition of the Ughelli Preseason Cup.
Dagashotz while speaking with the tournament organizer says that this is his way of supporting the Organizer for his hard work for the past 15 years.
However, Edo State Football Association chairman Mr. Fred Newton has donated Ten (10) balls to the organizer. Newton has also described his actions as his way of supporting and encouraging grassroots football in the State.
Mr. Onome while responding to the kind gesture from the donors has expressed excitement and thanked them for their donations, and promised to do more for the existence of the tournament.
