As part of its plans to uplift the game of Football and encourage Club sides in the state, the Edo state Football Association has struck a deal with a media company, FOCUS CRAFT CINEMA to record( video) matches for teams beginning from the second round of the ongoing Bet9ja/Edo FA Cup competition, commencing Sunday March 17, 2024, at two designate centers of Western Boys High School mini Sports complex ikpoba Hill, and S&T Army Barracks Ugbowo Benin City between 2 pm and 6 pm.
According to the chairman Media Publicity and ICT committee of the Edo FA, Kennedy Ugbodaga, the Edo FA will be responsible for 80% of the payment per match while teams are expected to part with 20% of the fee per match.
Ugbodaga however asks teams still left in the tournament to use this golden opportunity to have full video recordings of their matches which will be of immense benefit to them in the future, adding that the Edo FA is ready to take the game to another level in the state.

Meanwhile, the chairman of Edo FA, Fred Newton Erhunmwunse has asked the teams playing on Sunday to quickly reach out to the chairman organizing committee of the Bet9ja/ Edo FA cup 2024, Paul Ojeisekhoba for further information on the package before the first matches slated for Sunday 17th of march 2024.
