Former transportation minister, Ibrahim Bio claimed that it is clear that Nyesom Wike, the former governor of Rivers State, is leaving the PDP.
In response to Wike’s ministerial nomination by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Bio revealed this during an interview on Arise Television on Thursday.
According to Bio, it is clear that Wike will leave the PDP because he cannot combine serving as a minister in the All Progressives Congress-led administration with leading the PDP in Rivers State.
“On the ministerial list, Nyesom Wike is the only PDP card-holding member. I’m not sure how he’ll balance that with running the PDP in Rivers State. He said, “It is clear that Wike is leaving the PDP.”
Tellvibes recall that Tinubu’s ministerial list was read out by the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, at the plenary on Thursday and included Wike, three former governors, and 24 other nominees.
